Baby’s First Carnival: September Snap Day 28

Welcome to day 28 of the September Snap, a photography challenge in which I am challenging myself to post a new picture with an explanation each day this month. Have you been joining me in posting a picture a day?

September Snap

My little town hosts a festival each year complete with a carnival. My daughter was absolutely mesmerized by the rides. Her favorite ride to watch was one that went up high, spun around, and had a lot of flashing lights and loud music. Here is her favorite ride as well as her staring at it from her stroller.

Poppy also got to go on her first carnival ride this year. Her grandpa took her on the merry-go-round for the first time. She was smiling and happy sitting on a horse before the ride began. When the merry-go-round started spinning, the look on her face indicated that she was not quite sure about the whole thing. By the end of the ride, she was jumping into her Grandpa’s arms; however, she did not have a meltdown, so perhaps she will like rides more when she gets a little bigger.
