Burlap Ribbon Easter Egg Spring Wreath Craft

Burlap Ribbon Easter Egg Spring Wreath Craft

As someone who loves decorating her home for each season and holiday, I became obsessed with making wreaths a few years ago. Not only is making wreaths a fun and creative way to add a personal touch to my home, but hanging wreaths on my exterior doors also allows me to showcase my festive spirit to the world. One of the best parts about making wreaths is that I can easily find affordable supplies at my local dollar store, which allows me to make multiple wreaths for each season.

A few years ago right after St. Patrick’s Day, I made a few new spring-themed wreaths to add to my collection. One of my favorite wreaths that I made that year is a burlap ribbon wreath decorated with foam egg stickers. My new Easter wreath was a simple yet beautiful addition to my home that was also so easy to make.

Speaking of Easter eggs, did you know that the tradition of decorating and hiding eggs for Easter dates back to ancient times? In many cultures, eggs were a symbol of new life and rebirth, which made for a natural fit for the springtime holiday. Some early Christians also believed that eggs symbolized the resurrection of Jesus with the hard shell of the egg representing the tomb and the emerging chick inside representing new life. Nowadays, Easter eggs come in all shapes and sizes, from simple dyed eggs to elaborately decorated ones, and Easter eggs remain a beloved tradition for many families around the world.
