Buttons Diapers Flushable Bamboo Liners Review

Buttons Diapers Flushable Bamboo LinersAs my readers know, I am a huge fan of the all-in-two diapers from Buttons Diapers. After reviewing two covers, I ended up buying the other colors because I liked the diaper so much. Thus, when recently offered a chance to review the Flushable Bamboo Liners from Buttons Diapers, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

One roll of Buttons Diapers Flushable Bamboo Liners contains 100 liners for $7, making each liner cost only $0.07 each. The liners measure 11.5 inches by 6.5 inches and are sized to fit on top of a Buttons Diapers insert. Made from bamboo, the liners protect diaper inserts from buildup from diaper creams and make dealing with solid messes easier. The liners are unscented, biodegradable, flushable, and natural.

When I first opened my package of Flushable Bamboo Liners from Buttons Diapers, I immediately noticed the softness of the bamboo. The liners are perfect for babies with sensitive skin because of the softness. I personally use the liners on my daughter overnight when she needs diaper cream for a slight rash. To protect my diapers and inserts, I typically use a liner made from an old wash cloth or a flannel cloth wipe. However, the diaper cream eventually builds up on the cloth liner. Using a bamboo liner on top of the cloth liner further protects my diapers while also protecting my cloth liners. Because of my use of the Flushable Bamboo Liners, I no longer need to strip diaper cream off my cloth liners as frequently.

Buttons Diapers Flushable Bamboo Liners also make messy diaper changes easier. Because the liners are flushable, simply lift the liner and mess out of the diaper. Then flush the entirety down the toilet. I personally shake the solids off the liner and toss the used liner in the trash because I have an older house with a questionable plumbing system. However, in homes with newer plumbing, the liners are perfectly fine to flush.

Once the weather warms up, I plan to try composting my dirty Flushable Bamboo Liners. The bamboo is biodegradable. I am certain that the liners will compost because I tried washing one. The liner came out of the dryer as a torn up, holey mess, indicating the potential compostability of the fibers.

Final Verdict: I am extremely happy with the Flushable Bamboo Liners from Buttons Diapers. Compared to similar flushable liners, the liners from Buttons Diapers at $7 for 100 are priced on the lower end, providing an economical choice for parents. The bamboo fiber is super soft against delicate skin and helps protect diapers from sticky rash creams and solid messes. If you are in the market for flushable diaper liners, I highly recommend the Buttons Diapers Flushable Bamboo Liners.
