Buttons Diapers Velour Baby Wipes Review

Do you use cloth wipes? Each night before bed, I wash my daughter’s face and diaper area with a warm damp cloth. Although I previously used a regular washcloth, Buttons Diapers recently offered me the chance to review some new velour baby wipes. Because I am a huge fan of the brand of cloth diapers, I eagerly accepted the opportunity. Thus, for the past few weeks, I have been using the new Buttons Diapers velour baby wipes on my daughter at bedtime.

Price

The new velour baby wipes from Buttons Diapers currently retail for $8.50 for a pack of six on the Buttons Diapers website. Compared to other brands of velour wipes, the Buttons Diapers brand is priced extremely affordably. Each wipe costs only $1.42. Most other brands cost at least $2 or more per wipe. The Buttons Diapers velour baby wipes are therefore very budget-friendly.

Design and Materials

Measuring eight inches by eight inches, the Buttons Diapers velour baby wipes consist of high quality ultrasoft 100% organic cotton velour on top of a layer of microfleece. The velour side is green while the microfleece side is white.

Laundering

Laundering the new velour baby wipes from Buttons Diapers is as easy as tossing the used wipes in with the rest of your diaper or regular laundry. I have washed my wipes with my cloth diapers using a warm heavy wash with Rockin’ Green and OxiClean followed by two cold rinses. I have also tossed the dirty wipes in my regular laundry for which I do a warm or cold wash with my homemade laundry detergent. I then allow the wipes to air dry, or I toss the wipes in my dryer. The wipes come out clean and soft using either wash routine, meaning the Buttons Diapers velour baby wipes are versatile in terms of laundering.

Performance

The highest praise that I can offer any cloth diaper accessory is praise from my toddler daughter. And she absolutely loves the softness of the Buttons Diapers velour baby wipes! Some of our washcloths are older and less than soft. She loves the feel of the soft velour of the Buttons Diapers wipes on her face and bum. I simply wet the wipes with warm water and then wipe my daughter down at bedtime. The velour is super comfortable on sensitive skin, especially skin irritated by a rash. I have already purchased a second set so that I have enough to use on both of my cloth diapered children once my second baby arrives.

Final Verdict

If you use cloth wipes, I highly recommend the new velour baby wipes from Buttons Diapers. The price for a six pack is extremely affordable  at $8.50, which comes to $1.42 per wipe. In addition to being budget friendly, the wipes are super soft on even the most sensitive skin. My toddler daughter now prefers the velour baby wipes over our regular washcloths for her face and diaper area at bedtime. Cloth wipe users, I cannot recommend the new Buttons Diapers velour baby wipes any more highly!
