The Duck and the Rochelle Railroad Park: The Rubber Ducky Project Week 27

The Duck and the Rochelle Railroad Park features a rubber duck at the Rochelle Railroad Park in Rochelle, Illinois. Situated in the eastern quadrant of the diamond crossing between the Union Pacific Railroad (UP) and BNSF Railway (BNSF) mainlines between Chicago and points west, the Rochelle Railroad Park the first park in the nation built just for visitors to safely see operating trains. At the beginning of 2013, I made a resolution to post a weekly photograph of a rubber duck. Because my daughter loved rubber duckies so much, my goal was to post a picture a week of one of her rubber ducks. Her ducks have showed up in some pretty unusual places over the past few years as part of The Rubber Ducky Project.
