LightsEtc Warm White Blossom Outdoor Solar LED Lights Review

With hot soupy summer weather here, my kids and I stay inside during the day, venturing outside only in the evenings. I have quite a few solar lights set up around my yard to provide lighting and ambiance. I love stringing up Christmas lights during the holidays, but I also decorate my house for all the other seasons and holidays of the year. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review a strand of warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights from LightsEtc in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Price

The LightsEtc warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights currently retail for $39.99 with a sale price of $11.99 on Amazon. Most of my other plug-in LED lights cost me between $8 and $10 per strand. However, I must also pay for utility costs to power the lights. Because my new LightsEtc strand is solar powered, I save money in the long run. I would therefore definitely pay the current sale price, which I rate positively, for this strand of solar LED outdoor lights.

Design

Perfect for outdoor use in all kinds of weather including rain and snow, the waterproof warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights from LightsEtc produce 8 to 10 hours of continuous lighting when charged in full sun for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours. The dark green strand measures 15.7 feet in length, and the twenty flower-shaped LED bulbs comes in warm white, white, and multicolor. The simple solar panel features two switches and one stake for installing the panel in the ground. One switch on the panel turns the lights on and off while the second rotates between the continuous on and flashing lighting modes. By converting solar energy into electricity, the solar panel charges the battery during the day and the built-in sensor turns on the light automatically at dusk. You do not need to worry about wiring or increased electrical costs.

Performance

Setting up my new warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights from LightsEtc was super simple. To initially charge the battery, I followed the instructions from the company and placed the solar panel in direct sunshine for 12 hours starting in the early morning of a summer day. I pressed the on/off button on the bottom of the panel to turn the lights on, and then left the panel facing the noon sun. By the evening of that first day, the battery had fully charged and the lights were ready to use. The battery does require 12 hours for the initial charge, so, if you plan to purchase this strand during the winter, you will need to allow the solar panel to charge for at least two days before first use. However, the flower blossom lights made this strand perfect for the summer!

After I fully charged the solar panel for the first time, I strung the strand of flower blossom lights up and down the cucumber trellis in my vegetable garden. I began by gently pushing the stake into the ground in a spot in my garden that receives direct sunlight for most of the day. I then wrapped the lights throughout the trellis, taking care not to damage the wire. The lights were pretty easy to hang up but did tangle a little more easily than my smaller LED Christmas lights because of the larger and contoured blossom bulbs. However, untangling the lights was fairly simple. I finally selected my desired lighting mode (continuous on or flashing) by pressing the second button on the bottom of the solar panel. The lights automatically turn on at nightfall, and then the battery charges again the next day. I never have to worry about turning the lights on or off, which makes the warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights from LightsEtc incredibly easy to use.

Final Verdict

As a fan of outdoor twinkle lights, I really love my new strand of warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights from LightsEtc. Once I fully charged the solar panel for 12 hours, I found that the battery lasted well into the night. I appreciate that I can place the lights anywhere in my yard with full sun instead of needing to run extension cords through my grass. The easy-to-install stake secures the solar panel into the ground, and hanging the lights was simple. The lights come with two lighting modes (continuous on or flashing), which allows me to customize the ambiance. The solar panel charges the battery during the day, and the built-in sensor turns the lights ib automatically at dusk, so I never have to worry about turning the lights on or off. If you are a fan of twinkle lights and are shopping for a solar powered option, I definitely recommend the strand of LightsEtc warm white blossom outdoor solar LED lights.
