Paper Apple Craft

Paper Apple Craft

My daughter and I have been busy making apple crafts in anticipation of autumn. Plus A is for apple, making apple crafts perfect for learning about the alphabet. For a fun and easy craft to make with your child, use construction paper and pipe cleaners to make apples.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Cut the red construction paper into one-inch strips.
  2. Staple three red strips into rings.
  3. Insert the red rings together to form a sphere.
  4. Staple the sphere together at the bottom.
  5. Cut two leaves from the green construction paper.
  6. Punch a hole in the top center of the red sphere and the edge of each green leaf.
  7. Cut a three-inch piece of green pipe cleaner.
  8. Fold the pipe cleaner piece in half.
  9. Twist a knot in the bottom of the pipe cleaner.
  10. Insert the pipe cleaner through the hole in the red sphere through underside and out the top.
  11. Insert the leaves on top of the red sphere.
