When you look in my craft supplies, you will find quite a few household items including paper plates. For a recent winter-themed craft, my daughter and I made some simple but cute penguins made from paper plates.
Materials
- White paper plate
- Black paint
- Orange paper
- Wiggle eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
- Paintbrush
Instructions
- Fold two sides of the paper plate in.
- Fold the resulting point of the paper plate down.
- Open up the paper plate.
- Paint of the backs of the folds black.
- Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
- Refold the paper plate.
- Glue the folds down.
- Cut two feet and one triangle from the orange paper.
- Glue the two feet to the bottom back of the paper plate.
- Glue the orange triangle to the end of the glued down point.
- Glue two wiggle eyes above the orange triangle.
- Display the paper plate penguin.
