Poppy Loves Walking: Baby’s First Steps with Her Walk ‘n Ride

My daughter took her first steps back in October when she was only nine and a half months old. Now that she is almost a year old (Gasp!), she is pretty much walking everywhere. Sometimes she will crawl a little right after she falls down or when she wants a toy that is close by, but she now much rather prefers walking.

Because of her newfound love of walking, Poppy has a favorite new toy: her Playskool Step Start 3-in-1 Walk ‘n Ride. She loves pushing her Walk ‘n Ride all through the house. When I am working in the kitchen, I put baby gates up so that Poppy can move from the living room through the dining room and into the kitchen as she pleases. The other day, she was having a blast pushing her Walk ‘n Ride from the living room to the kitchen and then back into the living room.

In addition to a few pictures that I was able to snap, I also recorded a great little video of Poppy playing with her Playskool Step Start 3-in-1 Walk ‘n Ride. Check out the determination on her face. And I absolutely love her problem-solving skills as she figures out how to move her toy when she gets stuck.

Does your child have a favorite toy?
