PSA Toddler Pull-Along Trailer with Wooden Blocks Review

PSA Toddler Pull-Along Trailer with Wooden Blocks Review

I love simple toys for my kids. Although my four-year-old daughter gets to use the iPad for school time and occasionally for fun, I prefer that my kiddos play with physical toys that inspire the imagination and encourage creativity. Both my son and my daughter enjoy building with blocks. Blocks promote problem solving, mathematical skills, motor skill development, and more. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review a toddler pull-along trailer with wooden blocks from PSA in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Recommended for children age 18 months and older, the PSA toddler pull-along trailer with wooden blocks currently costs $14.99 on Amazon. Other similar block sets costs roughly the same, so I find the current price reasonable. The natural wood cart with red wheels comes with 30 smooth wood blocks in a rainbow of colors and various basic geometric shapes. The bright mosaic pattern is stimulating and encourages creativity. Toddlers can pull the rolling card, which measures 11 inches long by 7 inches wide, from room to room with the sturdy play string.

Both my kids absolutely love the toddler pull-along trailer with wooden blocks from PSA. As soon as I opened the package, my son excitedly grabbed the string and start pulling the cart around the house. The cart is very sturdy. My kids can be a bit rough on toys, so I highly appreciate the durable wood and sturdy wheel construction. The end of the thick string did start unraveling a bit, but I tied a knot near the end, which stopped the minor issue.

The colorful blocks come in cubes, rectangular prisms, triangular prices, arches, and a cylinder. Although PSA recommends the toy for toddlers over the age of 18 months, I must note that some of the smaller blocks such as the cylinder can pose a choking hazard. My 22-month-old son still puts toys in his mouth quite a bit, so I do supervise his use of the blocks. He has tried to put some of the smaller blocks in his mouth. My only complaint with this block set is the minimum age. Because of the smaller size of the blocks, I would advise not allowing children under the age of 3 to play unsupervised. Overall, however, my kids love their new toddler pull-along trailer with wooden blocks from PSA.
