Halloween is my second favorite holiday, and I have been hard at work the past few weeks making some new wreaths for my home and family. I recently found some sparkly black, purple, and orange tulle at the Dollar Tree. I also bought some glittery Halloween foam stickers including black cats and white ghosts. In addition to a willow wreath that I also bought, I set about making a poofy and sparkly Halloween wreath. I will warn you that the glitter from the tulle ended up all over my workspace, but the end result is absolutely amazing!
Materials
- Willow wreath
- Black, purple, and orange sparkle tulle
- Black, purple, and orange pipe cleaners
- Ghost and black cat sparkle foam stickers
- Orange glitter ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Cut the pipe cleaners into 2-inch pieces.
- Form a loop at one end of the black tulle.
- Secure the loop to the wreath with a pipe cleaner.
- Continue securing loops around the outside and inside edge of one-third of the wreath. Alternate between the outside and inside.
- Repeat with the purple tulle over the black tulle on the wreath.
- Fluff up the tulle loops.
- Wrap the remaining one-thirds of the wreath in the orange tulle. Secure at both ends with a pipe cleaner.
- After coving the wreath with the tulle, tie a piece of orange ribbon around the top and knot.
- Use the hot glue to secure the ribbon hanger to the back of the wreath.
- Use hot glue to attach the ghost and black cat foam stickers around the orange portion of the wreath.
- Display the sparkle tulle Halloween wreath.
