The Parenting Patch Fall Fluff Giveaway Hop: Grand Prize Cloth Diaper Prize Pack Giveaway (CLOSED)

Welcome to The Parenting Patch Fall Fluff Giveaway Hop! James and Heather, a husband and wife team, launched The Parenting Patch: Where Parents Grow on September 15, 2011. In honor of the first anniversary of their blog and website, The Parenting Patch is hosting a cloth diaper giveaway hop that runs from September 1, 2012 through September 15, 2012.

The minimum value of each prize package participating in The Parenting Patch Fall Fluff Giveaway Hop is $15. Each giveaway prize is related to cloth diapers. Giveaways include, but are not limited to, cloth diapers, wet bags, cloth wipes, cloth diaper laundry detergent, and cloth diaper ointment.

Additionally, The Parenting Patch is sponsoring a huge cloth diaper grand prize that consists of one (1) wet/dry bag in sage, one (1) handmade long wet bag in an owl print, one (1) Smush Tush diaper, one (1) Awesome Blossom diaper, six (6) bamboo/microfiber inserts, nine (9) microfiber inserts, and ten (10) Alva Baby pocket diapers in red, orange yellow, green, blue, light blue, purple, black, brown, and white.

Awesome Blossom

The first piece of the grand prize is a OS pocket diaper from Awesome Blossom. I reviewed an Awesome Blossom cloth diaper back in May at which time I gave the Awesome Blossom Yellow Bubble Time OS Cloth Diaper an enthusiastic thumbs up. Awesome Blossom cloth diapers are a OS pocket diaper that fit children weighing between nine and thirty-five pounds. The outer material is 100% polyester with a waterproof PUL lining; the inner material is super soft micro-fleece. This diaper has two layers of snaps that adjust the size around the waist including extra cross-over snaps for an extra small fitting around the waist as well as two rows three torso snaps that allow the diaper to grow with the child. Each diaper also comes with an absorbent three-layer micro-fiber insert.

Smush Tush

The second piece of the grand prize is a OS sock monkey pocket diaper from Smush Tush Cloth Diapers. Smush Tush is the creation of Kat. Kat lives in Portland, Oregon. She is the mother of two little Smushes under the age of three and a part time pediatric RN. Kat started Smush Tush last spring because she believe in cloth diapers. Nothing makes more sense than saving money and keeping landfills free from everlasting disposable diaper garbage, and, of course, there is nothing cuter than a fluffy tush! Like most other cloth diapering mamas, Kat quickly became obsessed, and then that obsession developed into creating unique diapers for friends, which further became a small business. Mostly, she just wanted to help raise awareness about the ease and awesomeness that is cloth diapering.

Additionally, Kat donates $1 from every Smush Tush sale directly into a Morale Fund for the unit she work on at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. She works in an Intermediate Care Unit, which is a step-down unit from the Pediatric ICU. Most of her patients suffer from congenital conditions, brain tumors, extreme developmental delays, and trauma incidents. These extremely sick kiddos do not see much in funds from the community like other units do, and she felt an immense need to help. Although she cannot provide 72-inch flat-screen televisions like bigger companies like Microsoft can, with all the help from her customers, she can provide smiles in the simple form of pizzas, snacks, and movies for the sick little smushes and their families in her unit. Kat is and forever will be grateful for all of the support from her customers.

I am absolutely addicted to Alva Baby cloth diapers! At about $5 per diaper, Alva Baby diapers are incredibly affordable but are still high quality. As part of The Parenting Patch Fall Fluff Giveaway Hop grand prize, one lucky reader will win ten (10) Alva Baby B series pocket diapers in red, orange yellow, green, blue, light blue, purple, black, brown, and white. In addition to the diapers, I am also throwing in six (6) bamboo/microfiber inserts and nine (9) microfiber inserts as well as a travel-sized wet/dry bag in sage, all from Alva Baby.
