Welcoming Spring with Deco Mesh Easter Wreaths from Dollar Tree

As my readers know, I am a huge fan of Dollar Tree for craft supplies. Dollar Tree is the largest and most successful single-price-point retailer in the country, operating thousands of stores within the continental United States. My own town offers four different locations, which I find quite convenient depending on where I am heading on a given day. With all the crafts that my kids and I make throughout the year, I am always heading back in to pick up more supplies. I also love the seasonal selections. I decorate my home for every holiday and season of the year, and Dollar Tree allows me to make new creations at a reasonable price.

Dollar Tree

Dollar Tree buys in mass quantities and passes the savings on to customers with a $1 per unit price-point (or less) on every item and a huge selection of product offerings. I can also shop online at DollarTree.com. With two young children running around, shopping online is often easier than shopping in-store. At Dollartree.com, I can find the same bulk buying power as Dollar Tree. I love that I can buy in bulk online and have my items delivered to the store or to my home. I often buy large quantities of craft supplies such as wire wreaths, deco mesh, and pipe cleaners, so buying in bulk online helps save me time.

Spring is almost here, so I have begun thinking about Easter decorations for around my house. I have been absolutely obsessed with making wreaths over the past few months. My daughter also loves Easter, so I want to decorate my home for one of her favorite holidays. I recently stocked up on spring and Easter décor and craft supplies from Dollar Tree. For Easter, I picked up some white, blue, and pink deco mesh to create some wreaths. One fun part about working with deco mesh is that I can make my wreaths as puffy and as large as I desire. I also added some Easter eggs and other spring décor to my wreaths for decoration. I made two similar wreaths, one for me and one for my mom.

Materials

  • Wire wreath
  • White, blue, and pink deco mesh
  • White, blue, and pink pipe cleaners
  • Easter door hangers
  • Plastic and foam Easter eggs
  • Tinsel bunnies
  • Pink ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue

Instructions

  1. Cut the pipe cleaners into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Form a loop at one end of the white deco mesh roll.
  3. Secure the loop to the wire wreath with a white pipe cleaner.
  4. Continue securing loops around the outside and inside edge of the wreath. Alternate between the outside and inside.
  5. Repeat with the blue and pink deco mesh.
  6. Fluff up the deco mesh loops.
  7. Tie a piece of pink ribbon on the back of the wreath as a hanger.
  8. Attach the door hanger to the bottom front of the wreath using a pipe cleaner.
  9. Attach the tinsel bunny to the front top of the wreath using a pipe cleaner.
  10. Use hot glue to decorate the wreath with the plastic and foam Easter eggs.
  11. Display the deco mesh Easter wreath.
