360 Boost Gel Pen Set Review

360 Boost Gel Pen Set Review

I love coloring in my adult coloring books as my daughter works on her school work or both my kids color in their own coloring books. Adult coloring books tend to have more intricate designs that require a fine-tipped utensil. I thus have come to love gel pens as one of my top favorite coloring utensils of choice. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review a gel pen set from 360 Boost in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity to add to my craft supply collection.

    Price and Design

The 60-piece gel pen set from 360 Boost currently costs $16.99 on >Amazon. Another one of my gel pen sets with the same number of pens cost about $2 less. However, I do not find the current price overly expensive. Ideal for young aspiring artists through established art professionals, the kit comes with five unique sets of pens in twelve colors each. The assortment of 60 pens come in an incredible vibrant and bold assortment of colors including basic, neon, pastel, glitter, metallic, and swirl. Durable 0.8 to 1.0 millimeter tips offer smooth and non- smearing writing, sketching, drawing, coloring, and more. Safe for children, the pens contain non-toxic gel ink. Packed in clear reusable pen cases for easy and convenient storage, the gel pen set from 360 Boost comes with a 30-day money back satisfaction guarantee.

    Performance

I am extremely happy with my new 60-count set of gel pens from 360 Boost. Until recently, my experiences with gel pens had been quite negative. My old gel pens from junior high fifteen years ago clogged easily and dried out quickly. I am happy to say that most of my new 360 Boost pens start flowing as soon as I start writing and do not stop. Only a few times have I had to suck on the tips of a few pens to get the ink started. I have been able to color multiple pages in my new animals adult coloring book without getting upset at my new pens.

I absolutely love all the colors and hues included in the 60-count pack of gel pens from 360 Boost. My favorites are definitely the glitter pens. I love that I can add some sparkle to my coloring. The ink comes out quickly and evenly, and the glitter spreads out smoothly. I also love the metallic hues, which glide on so smoothly and leave a pretty metallic sheen in my artwork. Both my kids enjoy the swirl pens, which change color as you write. Multiple colors comes out and mix together to make unique shades. With a total of 60 colors, I can find the perfect shade for every picture in my coloring books.

I finally love that I can use my new gel pen set from 360 Boost on both light and dark color paper. I first used my new pens on a white-backgrounded picture in one of my adult coloring books. The pens show up true and bright on white. Gel pens also work well on darker colored paper. The white and silver show up particularly well on dark colors including black. Both my kids also love using my new gel pens. My daughter loves writing and drawing with the pens, and even my toddler son can work the pens quite well as he scribbles away in his notebook and coloring books. I definitely agree that the gel pens from 360 Boost are perfect for children and adults alike.
