Every year during the holidays, my husband and I go to a Festival of Trees, which is put on each year to benefit a local children’s organization. This year we brought our daughter to her first Festival of Trees. She was absolutely enamored by all the beautiful trees and lights and other decorations. She kept saying “pretty” and waved her arms around to the Christmas music. We even got a picture of her with Santa before she started crying at being handed over to a stranger.
