Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer Review

Disclosure: I received a sample of Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer as part of an advertorial.

Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer 1Because I have sensitive skin and am prone to pimples, the skin on my face is often red and blotchy. Although I do not wear a lot of makeup most of the time, I do use liquid foundation and powder frequently and sometimes use a concealer to cover up redness and blemishes. Also because of my sensitive skin, I prefer to use more natural makeup when possible. Thus, when recently given the chance to review some Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer is made in the United States of America and is never tested on animals. The ingredients listed on the box include the following: mineral oil, colloidal oatmeal, petrolatum, ozokerite wax, beeswax, cetyl esters, lanolin, zinc stearate, mica, superoxide dismutase, catalase, apple extract, horseradish, phospholipids, retinyl palmitate, tocopheryl acetate, butylene glycol, propylparaben, and BHA. The concealer may also contain titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarines, chromium green, and kaolin.

Although I recognize most of the ingredients in Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer off hand, a few cause me to pause. I had to look up some of the more chemical ingredients such as superoxide dismutase and catalase. I also know that women should avoid retinoids (retinyl palmitate) during pregnancy. Although topical retinoids are less dangerous than oral versions, I am a bit wary about this particular ingredient. I am not currently pregnant, but, as a woman of childbearing age, I worry about becoming pregnant and accidentally causing harm to my baby. However, the rest of the ingredients in the concealer seem okay for everyday use, even with my sensitive skin.

My skin tone is extremely fair, so I chose the Fair Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer. The concealer also comes in four other shades: Wheat, Ivory, Medium, and Deep. Most women should be able to find a shade that works with almost any skin tone.

Using Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer to cover redness and blemishes is incredibly easy. I started by washing my face as usual with just some warm water. As you can see from my before picture, I had some redness and a few pimples on the day that I tested the concealer. After my skin dried, I applied some Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer to my trouble spots. I used my finger to dab a small amount out, and then I lightly applied the concealer to my skin. After allowing the concealer to dry for a moment, I applied my regular makeup. Even before putting on the rest of my makeup, my skin is noticeably less red and blotchy with just the Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer. To remove my makeup including the concealer at the end of the day, I followed my usual face washing routine.

Final Verdict: Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer contains mostly ingredients that I readily recognize and that do not cause concern (aside from the retinyl palmitate). With five different shades, any woman can find a color to meet her specific skin tone. The concealer is easy to apply and covers redness and blemishes extremely well. Best of all, the concealer does not irritate my sensitive skin. I am very pleased with my Ageless Derma Natural Camoufleur Concealer and recommend the concealer to other women.
