Aityvert Solar Motion LED Light Review

Aityvert Solar Motion LED Light Review

To make my yard a little safer at night for my family, I have been putting up solar motion lights around the exterior of my house. My house sits on a fairly large lot, and I am determined to add more and more outdoor lighting to make the yard more usable in the evenings. I love solar lights because I do not have to run new wiring for electricity. When recently offered the chance to review a solar motion LED light from Aityvert in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Price and Design

One Aityvert solar motion LED light currently costs $14.99 on Amazon. Designed with a waterproof and durable solid stainless steel construction to withstand years of wet and windy weather, the light includes a powerful lithium-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to twelve hours of illumination on a full charge. The unit measures approximately 5 inches by 3.5 inches, and each light should be positioned at least seven meters apart from other lights and light sources so that the dim light will automatically turn on at dusk. When motion occurs in the sensor zone, the bright white light produced by the sixteen LED bulbs activates. The light remains on for 30 seconds after motion ceases and then returns to dim. The package comes with the light and battery, two screws and wall plugs, pin, and user manual.

Installing my new Aityvert solar motion LED light was incredibly easy. The light features two keyholes in the back to easily hang the light on a vertical surface with the two included screws. I installed mine on the southeast corner of my garage roof. I used a screwdriver and drill and quickly installed the screws into the easement. (I also first used a nail and hammer to punch holes through the metal flashing on the easement.) I thus rate the ease-of-installment of the Aityvert solar motion LED light extremely highly.

Operating the solar motion light is just as easy as installation. In addition to screws, the light comes with a small pin. To switch between off and on (dim to bright when motion detected), simply insert the included pin into the small hole on the underside of the light to toggle the on/off switch. I was able to easily and quickly switch the light on and off even after I had installed the Unit on my easement. I therefore rate the Aityvert solar motion LED light extremely highly in terms of use.

I have had problems with past motion solar lights that I have purchased for my yard and have returned a few because the problems were so bad. So far I have not had any problems with my solar motion light from Aityvert. I first allowed the solar panel to charge in the sun for three days before testing the lights. The light is hung at ten feet above the ground, and it turns on as soon as I walk within about ten feet of the sensor. The light then remains bright for approximately thirty seconds after I walk away. The dim light also turns on automatically at dusk. The sixteen LED bulbs are very bright despite the small size of the unit. I personally prefer LED bulbs because even the smallest bulbs pack quite the optical punch. I will also update my review during the winter months of the year when the sun shines fewer hours during the day. I am excited to see if my Aityvert solar motion LED light continues to work as well during shorter daylight hours.

Final Verdict

If you are shopping for asmall exterior solar motion light for your home or yard, I definitely recommend the Aityvert solar motion LED light. Suitable for exterior use in all types of wet and windy weather, the durable light easy mounts to a vertical surface with the included screws. The top-mounted solar panel produces bright and longer working hours for the sixteen LED bulbs, The sensor triggers the lights when motion occurs within a 10-foot range and a 120-degree angle. Both installation and use of the lights is incredibly easy. These bulbs shine with a white glow that is perfect for lighting up my backyard. I am quite happy with the performance of my solar motion LED light from Aityvert.
