    Baby Sign Language: Diaper and Change

    Being able to ask for a diaper change can lessen the frustration that some preverbal children feel. Teach your baby the signs for the words diaper and change in baby sign language with the following descriptions and videos.


    Tap the index and middle fingers on the hips. Imagine motioning towards the diaper snaps.



    Form the signed letter X with both hands. Place one fist on top of the other fist. Then switch the hands.
