Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips Review

Disclosure: I received a set of Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips as part of an advertorial.

Recently I cleaned and organized my entire kitchen. One area that I found most baffling to organize was my spices. Some of my large spices containers do not fit inside my cabinets. And all too often I find myself digging through my spice boxes in an attempt to find my favorites. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review some Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

I received a set of three Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips. Each strip holds four spices for a total of twelve spices. Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips solve two kitchen organization problems by reducing shelf and counter space while putting spice jar conveniently at your finger tips. Each strip comes with a 3M double-adhesive strip for quick mounting. Also included with the strips are small screws for more permanent installation of the strips. The spice grippers can be cut apart to fit any space.

Because I store a number of my spices including my larger containers and most used spices on two small shelves above my sink, I decided to install one of the Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strip beneath the lower shelf for some added spice storage room. Installing the spice strips is incredibly easy. Simply clean the area with rubbing alcohol first and allow the surface to dry thoroughly. Then remove the backing from the adhesive on the strip. Position the spice gripper on the surface and press firmly. Allow the adhesive to set for at least 48 hours before adding any spices.

In addition to walls, Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips also work perfectly inside cabinets and pantry doors. I chose to put mine on the wall under some of my other spices. I can now keep some of my more frequently used spices right in sight without taking up valuable shelf space. I have also partially eliminated my organization problem. By storing some of my favorite spices out in the open with my Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strip, I no longer have to dig through all my spices to find my favorite flavors. The only downside is that I do not have a lot of wall area in my kitchen to install the other two spice grippers in an equally convenient and more visible location.

Another minor problem with the Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips that I have discovered is that that grippers work best with certain sizes and shapes of spice jars. Plastic containers with a slightly smaller neck fit best in the spice grippers. Fortunately, many of my favorite spices come in such containers. However, spice jars of other shapes and sizes do not fit in the grippers. I could not store my huge jars of pepper, chili powder, or garlic powder in the Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips. I would also be a little nervous about putting glass jars without necks in the grippers for fear of the jar slipping out and shattering. However, if you tend to buy standard spice jars, then the Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips work perfectly!

Final Verdict: If you are tight on shelf space but have plenty of wall space, then the Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips are the solution to your spice cabinet organization problems. The spice grippers easily attach to any vertical surface with 3M double-sided adhesive (and come with small screws for more permanent installations). One of the only drawbacks to the spice grippers is that standard spice jars fit best within the plastic grabbers. However, if you tend to buy standard spice jars and need a better solution to your spice cabinet organization problem, then the Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips are the spice rack for you. I highly recommend Bellemain Spice Gripper Clip Strips.
