'Boo Who? A Spooky Lift-the-Flap Book' Book Review

Lift-the-flap books are super popular with young children. Boo Who? A Spooky Lift-the-Flap Book by Joan Holub is a fun little Halloween book that fills the desire to lift-the-flap among early readers.

Recommended for children ages 3 and up, Boo Who? A Spooky Lift-the-Flap Book is a book of Halloween questions and answers. Each page asks a question such as “Guess who says ‘Boo!’ ” and “Who is in that pointy hat?” After guessing the answer to the question, lip the flap to find out. The very last page of the book even features a mirror under the flap that inserts the reader into the story.

The language in Boo Who? A Spooky Lift-the-Flap Book is very simple and thus perfect for young readers. The question-and-answer format introduces young children to many vocabulary words for the Halloween holiday. The pictures are darling and never scary, perfectly adding to the story.
