Bump Baby & Beyond Drool Baby Bandana Bibs Review

Bump Baby & Beyond Drool Baby Bandana Bibs Review

I own quite the little stash of baby bibs, many of which I picked up at thrift shops and garage sales. My preschooler daughter still insists on wearing a bib when eating messy food because she likes to keep her clothes clean, and I use a bib on my toddler son during meals to help mitigate some of the spills. I also used bibs on my daughter as an infant because she drooled a lot. When Bump Baby & Beyond recently offered me the chance to review a four-pack of Drool Baby Bandana Bibs, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Price

The four-pack of Drool Baby Bandana Bibs from Bump Baby & Beyond currently retails for $32 with a sale price of $19.99 on Amazon. At full price, the bandana bibs are a bit more expensive than other similar bibs. However, at sale price, the bibs are comparatively priced. I would therefore purchase the Drool Baby Bandana Bibs at the current sale price.

The Bump Baby & Beyond Drool Baby Bandana Bibs consist of soft absorbent cotton with a thick fleece backing that protects against drool and other moisture. The combination baby burp cloth and teething bib stops leaks to protect clothing and prevent chapping around the neck. The bib offers large coverage without sagging at the front. The soft absorbent fabric also allows the bib to double as a wipe cloth at the end of meals.

The Drool Baby Bandana Bibs from Bump Baby & Beyond come in stylish handkerchief bib patterns that are fashionable and functional. The four-pack features teal stars, green clouds, yellow squares, and pink and gray stripes. Unlike many bibs with scratchy Velcro closures, these bandana bibs offer adjustable two-snap fastening at the neck that helps the bib stay in place all day and allows the bib to grow with your baby.

Note: Do not leave the Bump Baby & Beyond Drool Baby Bandana Bibs or any other bib on an unsupervised baby. Remove the bib when your baby is sleeping or whenever not directly supervised to prevent strangulation.

Performance

While checking out other reviews of the Bump Baby & Beyond Drool Baby Bandana Bibs I noticed some comments about the colors. While Bump Baby & Beyond markets the bibs as unisex, some customers complained that the pink makes the four-pack unsuitable for boys. I very much disagree. I strove to expose both my daughter and my son to all colors of the rainbow, not just culturally girl or boy colors. I love that this four-pack comes with gender neutral green and yellow as well as “boy” teal blue and “girl” pink.

Both my kids love the Drool Baby Bandana Bibs from Bump Baby & Beyond. When I first opened the package, my son toddled over to investigate. He immediately started playing with the bibs, rubbing the soft material on his face. My daughter, who is 4 but still insists on using a bib at mealtime, loves sharing the bibs with her baby brother. Her favorite print is the pink and gray stripes because she loves pink. I personally love the teal with white stars, which looks great on both my kiddos.

I love the design of the Bump Baby & Beyond Drool Baby Bandana Bibs. First, the bandana design makes the bibs stylish for all-day wear, not just at meals. I wish that I had had these bibs for my daughter as an infant when I put bibs on her to catch her drool. The material is absorbent and protects clothing against wetness and spills. The fleece lining is super soft, and I can use the bib to wipe dirty faces at the end of a meal. I also love the double snap closure, which allows the bibs to fit both my younger toddler son and older preschooler daughter. The metal snaps also make the bib harder to remove, which is a plus for my son who likes to pull on his bibs as soon as he finishes eating. I can easily snap the bibs on my kids, but neither can undo the snaps very well.
