When I do not have a mobile infant to keep from destroying the house, I usually put up three full size Christmas trees around my house. Thus, I am need of three Christmas tree toppers. On the main tree in my living room, I always put the star that belonged to my great grandmother and then my grandmother. For the other two trees, however, the topper is up for grabs. One year I used a blinking illuminated star that I had created. Another year I used one of my Peanuts decorations.
While at a recent Festival of Trees, I was inspired to design a new Christmas tree topper as an at home craft. Perhaps one year my daughter and I will create a new topper for one of our trees together. In the meanwhile, for the twentieth day of the 25 Days of Christmas, here are some of my favorite Christmas tree toppers that I saw at the Festival of Trees.
