I love decorating my home for every season and holiday with twinkle lights. I also love making decorative crafts with lights. Of all the lights that I own, I tend to prefer LEDs. LED lights require less energy to power, last longer, and remain cooler. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review a three-pack of copper wire LED lights from CMYK in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.
Price
The CMYK copper wire LED lights three-pack currently retails for $19.99 with a sale price of $6.99 on Amazon. While I find the full price a bit expensive for my tastes, I would definitely pay the current sale price for three strands of fifteen LED lights.
Design
The copper wire LED lights from CMYK feature warm white bulbs on an uncovered copper wire. Each strand in the three-pack comes with fifteen bulbs for a total of forty-five lights. Thin and flexible, the copper wire is low power and heat insulated to prevent overheating during usage and remain cool to the touch. The flexible wire also easily bends into any shape, making these strands perfect for crafting. Each strand measures 6.56 feet (2 meters) in length and ends in white battery box that comes with two CR2032 button batteries. The lights are designed for indoor and outdoor use, although CMYK recommends using the lights outside only in dry weather. The copper wire LED lights are guaranteed with CE and RoHS certification.
Performance
Using the CMYK copper wire LED lights is incredibly easy. The thin copper wire makes these strands super easy to shape and even easier to store. CMYK suggests using the lights around furniture, beds, windows, staircases, bars, frames, rafters, fireplace mantels, patios, balconies, boat decks, and more to create an elegant sparkling glow and welcoming feeling. I have been super into making wreaths recently, and the shorter strands from CMYK are perfect for decorating smaller wreaths. I am currently working on an autumn wreath project with acorns that will look even more gorgeous with these warm white bulbs. The copper wire is easy to shape and the small lights glow brightly!

While I generally prefer plug-in lights, the battery-powered copper wire LED lights from CMYK are perfect for decorating projects that I cannot place near an outlet. I like to hang wreaths on my front and back doors. Until now, I was unable to add lights to the wreaths because I could not have a power cord in the shut door. With the battery box at the end of each of these strands, I can light up as many wreaths as I want without worrying about slamming a power cord in my door. I will eventually have to change the button batteries, but CMYK claims that these strands are low consumption, so hopefully the batteries last quite a while.
Final Verdict
