After delving into the world of all-in-one cloth diapers, I discovered that I really liked the style. I especially love all-in-ones on my infant son. Thus, last November during the Black Friday sales, I purchased some Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diapers to test and review on my infant and preschooler.
Price
At $9.95 each at Diaper Junction, the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper is an incredibly economical option and one of the least expensive all-in-ones currently available on the market. The frugal price allowed me to purchase three diapers to try as opposed to just one. For families on a tighter budget who prefer all-in-ones, I overwhelmingly recommend the Diaper Junction brand.
Prints
I purchased the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper in two solid colors and one print: Parrot (red), Dandelion (yellow), and Monsters (brown with green, orange, and blue monsters). Diaper Junction currently offers the inexpensive all-in-one in fourteen solids and eight prints. I rate the diaper extremely highly in terms of variety. (Note: As of June 2015, Diaper Junction has discontinued the Diaper Junction brand, instead opting to combine the features, prints, prices of the Diaper Junction and Diaper Rite brands. Diaper Junction will stock only the new and improved Diaper Rite all-in-one in the future.)
Closures
I almost exclusively use snap closures on my diapers, so I appreciate that the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper comes only in snaps. The torso features three rows of three snaps that allow the diaper to adjust between small, medium, and large rise settings. The waist features two rows of ten slanted snaps. The wings feature double snaps, hip snaps, and crossover snaps to ensure the perfect fit on the tiniest babies.
Inserts
The Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper consists of a TPU exterior and a microfleece interior for a stay-dry feeling. The built-in insert consists of two layers of microfiber topped with a layer of microfleece. The “Soaker Stopper” on the front interior of the diaper keeps moisture from seeping out of the waist. I personally love the synthetic material of the all-in-one because of the absorbency combined with a fast drying time.
Laundering
As I mention again and again, I am lazy in the laundry room, so any new diaper that I add to my stash must fit in with my current wash routine. Between washes, I store my dirty diapers in a pail liner in my diaper pail. On laundry day, I wash my diapers on warm with detergent and OxiClean followed by two cold rinses. I then allow the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper to air dry on a drying rack, usually in front of a fan. If I am in a hurry, I occasionally toss the all-in-one in the dryer for about 30 minutes. I also sometimes toss the almost dry diaper in the dryer for 10 minutes to zap any remaining moisture. In any case, the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper is extremely easy to wash and dry because of the synthetic material.
Performance
Diaper Junction recommends the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper for babies between 8 and 35 pounds. Both my son and my daughter wear mine, although I usually use the diapers on my son. I first started using the diaper on my son when he was around six weeks old. He wore the all-in-one on the smallest waist and rise settings. By three months and 14 pounds, he still wore the diaper on the small rise setting but on the smallest waist setting without the crossover snaps. At five months and 16 pounds through six months and 17 pounds, he wore the diaper on the medium rise setting but still on the smallest waist setting without the crossover snaps. My 28-pound preschooler wore the diaper on the medium rise setting with three waist snaps exposed. Although recommended for kids up to 35 pounds, the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper may fit even larger kids as well.
My son is a fairly heavy wetter who hates feeling wet. The microfleece in the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper combined with the microfiber quickly soaks up moisture while providing a stay-dry feeling. Compared to his reaction while wearing diapers made with natural fibers, my son fusses less in his wet Diaper Junction all-in-one because of the stay-dry material. My daughter, too, enjoys the stay-dry feeling provided by the diaper.
With a high quality diaper, I have to change my son every two to four hours and my daughter every four. Both my kids can go up to four hours in the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper. The generous insert provides plenty of absorbency. I particularly like that I can fold-over the front of the insert to provide extra layers in the front of the diaper for my son. The diaper leaks only when I wait beyond four hours to change my kiddos.
The Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper works especially well on my kids during the day. I can also use the diaper on my children overnight with an added insert because both my son and my daughter go between 8 and 12 hours without a diaper change at night. I like to use a natural fiber booster under the sewn-in microfiber soaker to provide overnight absorbency.
In addition to providing protection against leaks, the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper also effectively contains liquid and solid poop. The diaper does an especially good job with messy exclusively-breastfed poop. I have yet to have a poop explosion with the diaper, so I rate the performance of the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper extremely highly.

Final Verdict
The Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper is one of my favorite all-in-ones in my stash. At only $9.95 each, the brand offers an extremely economical all-in-one option. Available in a variety of colors and prints, the diaper features high-quality snaps that allow for babies from infants to preschoolers to find a perfect fit. The diaper also performs extremely well, containing both moisture and solid messes. My only complaint is that Diaper Junction frequently runs out of stock, meaning the all-in-one is not always readily available for purchase. Overall, I overwhelmingly recommend the Diaper Junction one-size all-in-one cloth diaper.
