The Duck and the Field Museum of Natural History: The Rubber Ducky Project Week 41

The Duck and the Field Museum of Natural History features a rubber duck outside the Field Museum, a museum of natural history in Chicago, Illinois that contains over 24 million specimens and objects and a library of over 275,000 books, journals, and photo archives focused on biological systematics, evolutionary biology, geology, archaeology, ethnology, and material culture. At the beginning of 2013, I made a resolution to post a weekly photograph of a rubber duck. Because my daughter loved rubber duckies so much, my goal was to post a picture a week of one of her rubber ducks. Her ducks have showed up in some pretty unusual places over the past few years as part of The Rubber Ducky Project.
