The Duck and Montauk Point State Park: The Rubber Ducky Project Week 30

The Duck and Montauk Point State Park features a rubber duck overlooking Montauk Point State Park, an 862-acre state park located in the hamlet of Montauk at the eastern tip of Long Island. Montauk Point State Park contains the Montauk Point Lighthouse as well as picnic tables, a food concession, playground, fishing, seasonal hunting, and trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. At the beginning of 2013, I made a resolution to post a weekly photograph of a rubber duck. Because my daughter loved rubber duckies so much, my goal was to post a picture a week of one of her rubber ducks. Her ducks have showed up in some pretty unusual places over the past few years as part of The Rubber Ducky Project.
