Exploring Imaginative Halloween Play with the PLAYMOBIL Take Along Haunted House

My kids love Halloween! As with most kids, my children also love exploring imaginative play. I previously reviewed the Dump Truck and Excavator from PLAYMOBIL and the new PLAYMOBIL Carry Cases. I love all the awesome toy sets from the brand. When recently offered the chance to review the new Take Along Haunted House from PLAYMOBIL in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity to add to our toy box with great excitement from my daughter and son.

Evaluation

My kids were beyond excited when my new Take Along Haunted House from PLAYMOBIL arrived in the mail. As soon as I opened the packaging, my two oldest children begged me to immediately open the box and put the toy together. I acquiesced and began assembling the haunted house and smaller accessories. As with our other PLAYMOBIL toys, the pieces were easy to put together, and the stickers were just as easy to put on. The instruction manual is easy to follow and makes assembling the toy simple. While I have a lidded box for all our PLAYMOBIL toys, I do also appreciate that the haunted house closes up to become a carry case for the smaller pieces.

My children are not always gentle with toys, but the plastic pieces of the Take Along Haunted House show very little wear and tear so far. As with other toys from PLAYMOBIL, the haunted house is made of high quality materials. My kids definitely love playing with the spooky pieces, especially now right before Halloween. My four-year-old son really loves playing pretend with the mad scientist, monster, and vampire figures. He loves using the other small accessories during his imaginative play, particularly the chain that he puts on the monster. My six-year-old daughter also enjoys playing with the haunted house and figures. She even sometimes brings her mermaids from the Magical Mermaids Carry Case to the haunted house. My son also enjoys adding his pieces from the Go-Kart Racer Carry Case to the mix. I am definitely impressed with the Take Along Haunted House and would definitely consider buying more PLAYMOBIL sets for my children in the future!
