Every year in Central Illinois, East Peoria kicks off the holiday season in style with an annual Festival of Lights celebration. Each November, the seasonal festivities begin with the eagerly anticipated Parade of Lights. Then a two-mile journey through a dazzling electric park known as FOLEPI’s Winter Wonderland offers the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. Last year I snapped some photos of my favorite light displays as my family and I wove our way through the park.
