I have been cloth diapering my two children for over five years. During that time, I have tried many types of diapers and many types of inserts, some of which you can check out from these reviews along with other products. Until recently, however, I had yet to try any Geffen Baby products. Therefore, when recently offered the chance to review a three-pack of Super Absorbers from Geffen Baby in exchange for my honest opinion. I eagerly accepted the opportunity. I received a three-pack of the regular absorbency inserts.

Price and Design
Geffen Baby Super Absorbers consist of five layers of super absorbent fleece made with 60% hemp and 40% organic cotton. The super soft fleece absorbs and quickly wicks away moisture to keep sensitive skin dry and free of rashes. The higher percentage of hemp makes for an incredibly absorbent insert. The inserts are compatible with all brands of cloth diapers. Before washing, the inserts measure 5.5 inches by 13 inches. Geffen Baby recommends washing and drying the inserts three times before first use. The inserts will continued to gain absorbency for up to ten washes. The three-pack of Geffen Baby Super Absorbers currently costs $13.83.
Evaluation
With my older daughter, I primarily diapered her in all-in-twos or covers with various inserts. Now with my toddler son, I mainly use all-in-ones. Many times I add an extra insert to provide a little more absorbency, especially when I know he will be in a diaper for longer than usual such as on a road trip or overnight. I have tried many different additional inserts, to varying degrees of success. I have so far been quite impressed with my three Geffen Baby Super Absorbers.
I have many styles and brands of diapers in my stash. As promised, the Super Absorbers from Geffen Baby fit in all my diapers including Funky Fluff, Buttons Diapers, bumGenius, Diaper Junction, and more. I usually lay the extra insert on top of my diapers, but the Super Absorbers also fit in pocket diapers, fitteds, prefolds, flats, and more. I have also used two or three of the inserts alone inside a cover. The inserts work with every one-size diaper in my stash. I could also fold the fairly large inserts a bit to fit inside a newborn diaper as well.
The main reason that I lay a Geffen Baby Super Absorber on top of my all-in-ones and all-in-twos is that the hemp-cotton material is incredibly soft against even the most sensitive skin. When my package first arrived, both my kids wanted to keep touching the new inserts because of the softness. The second reason is that the high hemp content makes the inserts incredibly absorbent. The fleece also wicks away moisture quickly. Geffen Baby Super Absorbers truly do add much-needed and much-appreciated absorbency to my cloth diapers, with softness to boot.
Final Verdict
I have heard so many amazing things about Geffen Baby, and, after trying the Super Absorbers, I know why. The inserts consist of five layers of super absorbent fleece made with 60% hemp and 40% organic cotton, with the higher percentage of hemp creating an incredibly absorbent insert. The fit in pretty much all brands of cloth diapers including every diaper in my own stash. I love the super softness of the fleece, which absorbs and quickly wicks away moisture to keep sensitive skin dry and rash free. At the current price of $13.83, the three-pack is very affordable. I therefore highly recommend the Geffen Baby Super Absorbers.
