I love baking. Sometimes I am a terrible cook, but my baking creations always turn out delicious! I particularly enjoy baking muffins and cupcakes because of the individual servings. However, I am not fond of greasing muffin pans, and paper liners cost a fortune. Thus, I jumped at a recent opportunity to review the set of twelve Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cups.

Little Gems by Sunsella are a set of twelve silicone baking cups that are perfect for cupcakes and muffins. The non-stick baking cups are BPA-free and are dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe. Little Gems come in six vibrant colors: pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Sunsella offers a 100% money-back lifetime guarantee on the cups.

When my Little Gems by Sunsella arrived, I was impressed by the bright colors. I would love to see Sunsella offer a variety of colors and patterns in the future, but the six vibrant colors offered in the original twelve-pack are fun and bright, perfect for any joyous occasion — including just eating a warm muffin on a cold afternoon.

Using my new Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cups is incredibly easy. After an initial wash in hot soapy water, I placed the cups in my muffin pan and then pour my muffin batter in as usual. I then baked the muffins according to the directions on the package. Once the muffin was cool slightly, I gently squeezed the bottom of the cup and the muffin easily popped out of the silicone. Only a slight muffin residue was left on the inside of the cup. I often find myself scraping out muffin from the inside of paper liners, so the fact that the muffin so easily popped out of the Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cup absolutely impressed me. From now on, I will be using my Little Gems when I bake muffins or cupcakes for my family!

I am also incredibly impressed with the uniform way in which my muffins baked inside my Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cups. My husband noticed right away that the muffins were baked evenly and remained incredibly moist. When I have used paper liners in the past, the results have not been so consistent. Not only are Little Gems by Sunsella easy to use, but the muffins baked inside the silicone cups actually taste better!

Cleaning the Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cups is also easy. Although the package says that the cups are dishwasher safe, I found that hand washing was just as easy. When I put a dirty cup through the dishwasher, not all of the muffin residue was washed away from the silicone. However, using some hot, soapy water and a nylon brush easily and effectively cleaned out the cups with very little elbow grease.

Final Verdict: I am incredibly impressed with my new Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cups. From now on, I am baking all the muffins and cupcakes for my family in my Little Gems. The colors are bright and vibrant, but, more importantly, the cups really work to make baking easier and tastier. Using the silicone baking cups requires no more effort than conventional paper liners. However, the cups help baked goods cook more evenly, resulting in a tastier and moister treat. Washing the cups is also incredibly easy, although I recommend hand washing over using the dishwasher. If you bake a lot of muffins or cupcakes, I cannot recommend the Little Gems by Sunsella silicone baking cups any more highly!

I received a sample of the Little Gems by Sunsella Silicone Baking Cups mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
