I love socks. My daughter loves socks. Because his big sister loves socks, my son also loves socks. When recently offered the chance to review five pairs of Lomon boys stripe ankle socks in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity. The five-pack currently costs $12.99, which comes to approximately $2.60 a pair. Other five packs typically cost between $9 and $10, so I find the price of the Lomon socks a little bit more expensive but not completely outrageous.
The boys stripe ankle socks from Lomon consist of 60% cotton, 28% polyester, 10% nylon, and 2% spandex. At 16 to 18 centimeters in length along the bottom, the five pairs are suitable for average boys between the ages of 4 and 6. The socks are too big on my son, who is 21 months, but fit my 4.5 year old daughter. Super comfortable and stretchable, the high quality material breathes freely, absorbs sweat, and resists odors. The socks can be worn as crew socks or rolled down as ankle socks.
I really love the fun colors and stripes of the five pairs of Lomon boys stripe ankle socks. The socks come in red and white with blue, blue and gold with white, white and blue with green, black and white with brownish orange, and gray and white with yellow. Each pair has wide stripes on the outside with accents on the heels toes. The outside of ankle are a solid color. When rolled down, smaller stripes on the inside appear. Little boys (or girls) will love playing around with the two styles!
Washing the Lomon boys stripe ankle socks is incredibly easy. As with all my kiddos’ socks, I place the dirty Lomon socks in a mesh laundry bag that I keep in my laundry basket until wash day. I then machine wash the socks with the rest of my laundry on wash with my inexpensive powdered detergent followed by a cold rinse. I then put the clean laundry in my dryer for 90 minutes on low heat. The socks come out clean every time without any added work. Aside from the slightly higher than average price, I am very pleased with the Lomon boys stripe ankle socks that my daughter can wear now and that my son will wear in a year or two.
