LotFancy Nasal Aspirator Review

LotFancy Nasal Aspirator Review

When my daughter was an infant, I quickly discovered that bulb aspirators do not work very well to remove boogers from a sick baby. After finding a battery-operated nasal aspirator that worked wonders, I quickly fell in love with the style of “booger sucker.” Sadly, my original nasal aspirator died shortly after the birth of my son due to heavy use. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review a battery-operated nasal aspirator from LotFancy in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Price and Design

The LotFancy battery-operated nasal aspirator currently costs $24.99 on Amazon with a list price of $69. My previous aspirator that lasted me over two years cost just under $20. The aspirator from LotFancy comes with three silicone tips (two narrow tips and one large tip) that help remove nasal secretions quickly and easily with strong vacuum power that uses two AA batteries (not included). Use the large tip for mucus in a more solid form and the narrow tip for looser and liquid mucus. The tips, collection cup, and head part easily come apart from the body of the aspirator for easy clean-up. The aspirator additionally plays music to help relax and comfort your baby. LotFancy offers a one-year warranty and a money-back satisfaction guarantee.

Performance

As a seasoned mother of two young children, I cannot recommend a battery-operated nasal aspirator enough! I quickly found that manual bulb aspirators work minimally well at best. Searching for a better option for removing boogers from my infant daughter’s nose, I stumbled upon a battery-operated aspirator. When my first one pooped out after heavy use, I bought a second. Once my son came around almost two years ago, I continued exclusively using a battery-operated nasal aspirator to remove the boogers from his nose. The LotFancy aspirator works just as well as my original and replacement. I also love having a second one on hand. Having an aspirator stop working when your baby has a head cold is no fun for anyone!

Using the LotFancy battery-operated nasal aspirator is ridiculously easy. First select your silicone tip. I usually use the narrow tip, which better removes mucus in a more liquid state. I then insert the tip into my baby’s nose, plug the other nostril with my finger, and turn on the suction. I gently move the aspirator around to get as much mucus out as possible. Then I switch to the other nostril. I can quickly and easily clean out my baby’s nose in a matter of seconds. Using a conventional bulb takes much longer, is less effective, and results in more struggles. I can use my LotFancy aspirator on my son either laying down or sitting up. He has also learned that sucking out his boogers helps him breathe easier, so he is usually okay with my using the aspirator on him when he has a stuffy or runny nose. He also seems to enjoy the music that the aspirator plays.

Cleaning the aspirator from LotFancy is also quite easy. As soon as you finish clearing the mucus from your baby’s nose, take the aspirator to the sink and remove the head part from the body with a twist and a pull. Then pull the silicone tip off and twist off the collection cup. Run water through each piece to remove any mucus. I finally allow the pieces to air dry before putting the nasal aspirator back together again. LotFancy also includes a handy carrying bag with the aspirator. I store mine with the extra tips in the bag between sicknesses. Overall I am extremely pleased with my LotFancy battery-operated nasal aspirator.

Final Verdict

If you are expecting a new baby or have a young child, I highly recommend picking up a battery-operated nasal aspirator from LotFancy before cold and flu season begins. The aspirator comes with three silicone tips (two narrow tips and one large tip) that help remove nasal secretions quickly and easily with strong vacuum power. Using a conventional bulb takes much longer, is less effective, and results in more struggles. However, with my battery-operated aspirator, I can clear out my son’s stuffy nose in a matter of seconds without too many tears. Washing the aspirator is also easy because the tips, collection cup, and head part easily come apart from the body. The included bag makes storage and transportation easy. I am very impressed with my new LotFancy battery-operated nasal aspirator.
