My family includes two cats and two dogs. During the hot days of the summer, both my dogs like to stretch out on the ceramic tile floor in my dining room to cool off. Performance
I received the 15.7 inch by 19.6 inch self-cooling gel pet mat from LotFancy for my two dogs and two cats. Of my four animals, my kitten likes the mat the best so far! At first I was skeptical that the mat would provide cooling relief to my pets, but pressing my hand onto the surface immediately proved me wrong. As soon as you touch the pad, you can feel the cooling effect. The gel works for up to three hours at a time before needing to “recharge,” but my pets never stay on the mat that long during the day. If you want to recharge the cooling gel in the mat more quickly, you can pop the entire thing in the fridge, but refrigeration is not required. I absolutely love that I can set the LotFancy self-cooling gel pet mat out for my pets and not have to worry about it!
With four animals running around plus two small children, I need products that are extremely durable. So far I am super impressed with my self-cooling gel pet mat. The blue latex-free material is quite thick. I have been placing the mat on the floor of my dining room next to another pet bed, so my toddler son likes to stop on the surface whenever he walks past. My kindergartener daughter also steps on it fairly frequently, and all four of my animals tread on it throughout the day. I have not noticed any wear or tear on the pad yet. The stitching is also even and secure. I also appreciate the fold down the middle, which will allow me to fold the mat in half for easier storage in a sealed bag this winter. Overall my pets (especially my kitten) and I are quite pleased with the LotFancy self-cooling gel pet mat.
