I will admit that I love shopping for new clothes. Usually I do my shopping at thrift shops to save money, but getting new pieces is also fun from time to time. Because I am breastfeeding, finding tops that allow easy access is sometimes difficult. Cross-front tops are hard to come by at the moment. Available in three colors and five sizes, the short-sleeve cross-front knot V neck ruched blouse from Ninedaily consists of 95% Rayon and 5% Spandex. The fabric is lightweight and soft, making for a super comfortable shirt. The neckline is a V with cross-over panels joined with a knot at the sternum. The short sleeves features ruching and cover the shoulders and the tops of the arms. The tunic-style blouse is dressy enough to wear under a jacket or a blazer but also great for casual wear. The shirt is machine washable, but Ninedaily recommends hand washing in cold and laying flat to dry.
Performance
I chose the black short-sleeve cross-front knot V neck ruched blouse from Ninedaily because black matches the most in my wardrobe and shows stains less easily than lighter colors. The shirt is also available in white and yellow. I like the simple single color, which goes with many of my stripes and plaid summer pants and shorts. I like the style of the shirt so much that I would love to see additional colors such as red. I would definitely add more of this blouse to my wardrobe if more colors became available. However, the black works perfectly for me, and you can also buy two lighter colors including a neutral white.
In addition to the color, I also love the design of short-sleeve cross-front knot V neck ruched blouse from Ninedaily. I am oddly shaped, so I tend to need longer shirts to comfortably cover my belly and bum. I love tunic-style shirts, and this blouse falls mid-hip on me, which is quite comfortable for the summer. I also really love the cross-front V neck, which allows me to easily nurse my son without having to lift up the bottom of my shirt. I can simply pull the front to the side to grant my son easy access. I therefore definitely recommend this shirt to other breastfeeding moms. I also like the ruching on the sleeves and under the chest, which helps hide any leftover baby bump pudge. I chose the medium, which is the shirt size that I usually wear. The top fits me perfectly, so I consider the sizing spot on. The blouse is also available in small, large, extra-large, and extra-extra-large.
Ninedaily recommends hand washing this blouse in cold water and laying the shirt flat to dry. I will admit that I rarely hand wash clothing, even hand wash only pieces. I toss this shirt in my washing machine and dryer with the rest of my laundry. I use a warm wash followed by a cold rinse with my inexpensive powdered detergent. I then put all my laundry in my dryer on delicate (low heat) for about 70 minutes. This blouse comes out looking clean and fresh every time. The dark color has not started showing any fading yet even after multiple washes, and the fabric has remained soft and stretchy. From the color to the design to laundering, I am extremely pleased with my new Ninedaily short-sleeve cross-front knot V neck ruched blouse!
