Ohuhu Solar Garden Lights Review

Ohuhu Solar Garden Lights Review

I love decorating my gardens with solar lights. I especially like lining my walkways with path lights that charge with the light of the sun. When recently offered the chance to review an eight-pack of solar garden lights from Ohuhu in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity. The eight-pack currently costs $21.99 on Amazon, which compares in price to other similar lights.

Requiring no electricity or wiring, the Ohuhu solar garden lights are super easy to set up. Simply assemble the four pieces of the light (top, base, pole, stake) and press the stake into the soil. The weather-resistant lights feature bright white LED bulbs that illuminate most dark spaces, thus providing better visibility at night. The black finish of the pole and top blend in with the surroundings to provide a neat look to any garden or landscaping. The lights automatically turn on at night and provide up to eight hours of illumination with a full charge. The water-resistant design ensures excellent performance under most weather conditions.

When my box arrived, I immediately assembled all eight lights and then arranged the set along the path of the walkway on the side of my house. I have previously used solar stake lights in the same area and found that the flimsy plastic stakes often bent. I was thus pleased to find that I could push my Ohuhu lights into the dirt without the stakes breaking. I also really like the long poles, which elevate the lights above my lilies. Shorter lights have gotten buried in my plant leaves, so these taller 14.6-inch lights have been working so much better. The lights remain visible even when my plants are full during the summer.

I also love the bright white light provided by my new set of eight solar garden lights from Ohuhu. As fall approaches, the days will get shorter, but I placed my new lights in an area of my yard that gets at least hours of direct sunlight most days. (The company notes that the length of a charge varies with the intensity of sunlight, location, weather conditions, and shift of seasons.) The LED lights turn on as night falls and glow for hours. The walkway looks so pretty at night and is a little safer now with the LED illumination. If you are shopping for new solar garden lights, I definitely recommend the eight-pack from Ohuhu.
