Pink Daisy Stay Dry Feminine Pads Review

    Pink Daisy Logo

In addition to using cloth diapers on my daughter, I personally have made the switch to mama cloth and other reusable feminine products. When recently offered the chance to review the stay dry feminine pads from Pink Daisy by Blueberry, I jumped at the opportunity. I own a number of flannel and minky WAHM mama cloth but was interested in trying out some stay dry pads. I prefer stay dry inserts on my daughter and wanted to try the same material for myself.

I received a three-pack of small stay dry feminine pads in the pink on chocolate print. The small pads, which measure eight inches long by three inches wide, are recommended for light days. Also available are medium, which measure 10.5 inches by 3.5 inches, and large, which measure 13 inches by 3.5 inches. Although I have heavy periods that last up to a week, I chose the small because I have discovered that I am not a fan of big or bulky pads. I would rather change the pad more often than use a larger pad. The stay dry pads are made of 100% polyester with a hidden waterproof 100% polyester laminate layer.

Washing my stay dry feminine pads from Pink Daisy is incredibly easy. I use the same laundry routine as my cloth diapers: cold rinse with a little Rockin’ Green, warm wash with Rockin’ Green, air dry, and then tumble dry for ten minutes to zap any remaining moisture. I wash my mama cloth along with my cloth diapers. Between washes, I store the dirty pads in a wet bag hanging in my bathroom by the toilet.

Using my Pink Daisy stay dry feminine pads is incredibly easy. I simply snap the pads inside my underwear with the tag side down. No fuss and no muss. Just snap and go. For easier travel, you can also fold and snap the pads into a convenient little square that fits perfectly in your pocket or purse.

Despite my heavier than average flow, I found my new small Pink Daisy stay dry feminine pads quite absorbent. I could use one pad for a couple of hours without any problems. I also like the small size as a panty liner to catch leaks with my menstrual cup and at the end of my cycle for spotting. The small size is definitely not bulky. Once snapped in, I hardly noticed the pad and did not notice the mama cloth any more than disposable pad. I also really liked the stay dry material, which was not too hot despite the heat of the summer.

Final Verdict: I am incredibly happy with my small Pink Daisy stay dry feminine pads. Of all my mama cloth, I now use my Pink Daisy pads first. I recommend the small size even if you have a heavier flow because of the lack of bulkiness. The stay dry material is absorbent and comfortable. If you are in the market for some new mama cloth, I highly recommend the stay dry feminine pads from Pink Daisy by Blueberry.
