Gross Motor Skills: Sing “Ring Around the Rosie” while moving in a circle. Use a variety of movements such as walking, running, skipping, jumping, and dancing.
Craft/Activity: Paper Plate Pumpkin Puzzles (EFF 124-125)
Materials
- White paper plate
- Orange and black paint
- Empty container
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
Directions
- Pour some orange paint into the empty container.
- Paint the white paper plate with the orange paint.
- After the orange paint dries, paint a Jack o’ lantern face on the plate. Use circles for the eyes and nose.
- After the paint dries, cut the paper plate pumpkin into puzzle pieces using the scissors. Make at least one circle piece as well as some abstract shapes.
