Gross Motor Skills: Baking crescent rolls. Preschoolers can help by taking the crescent roll dough out of the refrigerator, rolling the dough into crescents, and placing the rolls on a baking sheet.
Craft/Activity: Crescent Pictures
Materials
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons
Directions
- Cut some construction paper into crescents.
- Glue a crescent onto another piece of paper.
- Use crayons to fill in the rest of the picture. Examples include using a crescent as a boat and drawing in the sail and water, using a crescent as a moon and drawing in the rest of the night sky, and using a crescent as a smile or frown and drawing in the rest of a face.
