Craft/Activity 1: Little Letter B Book
Materials
- Little Letter B Book template (http://www.themeasuredmom.com/free-letter-b-book-rhymes-songs/)
- Blank paper
- Stapler
Directions
- Print the Little Letter B Book template onto the blank paper.
- Cut an even line across the center of the page.
- Fold the two sheets to make a book.
- Staple the book together.
- Read the Little Letter B Book.
Craft/Activity 2: Paper Plate Button Butterfly
Materials
- Paper plate
- Buttons
- Pipe cleaner
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions
- Use the scissors to cut two triangle wedges from the top and bottom of the paper plate to form a butterfly shape.
- Glue buttons onto the remaining paper plate.
- Tie the pipe cleaner around the center of the plate to form antennae.
Craft/Activity 3: Blue Bs
Materials
- Letter B template (http://www.quality-kids-crafts.com/support-files/letter-b-template.pdf)
- Blank paper
- Blue paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Directions
- Print the letter B template onto the blank paper.
- Cut the blue paper into small squares.
- Glue the blue squares onto the letter Bs.
Optional: Set the finished B craft aside to bind into a book at the end of the alphabet lesson.
