Craft/Activity 1: Little Letter I Book

Materials

• Little Letter I Book template (http://www.themeasuredmom.com/little-letter-i-book-rhymes-songs/)
• Blank paper
• Stapler

Directions

1. Print the Little Letter I Book template onto the blank paper.
2. Cut an even line across the center of the page.
3. Fold the two sheets to make a book.
4. Staple the book together.
5. Read the Little Letter I Book.

Craft/Activity 2: Paper Ice Cream Cones Craft (http://www.themeasuredmom.com/7-fun-crafts-for-the-letter-i/)

Materials

• Construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Small beads

Directions

1. Cut a triangle from brown construction paper.
2. Cut circles from the construction paper.
3. Glue the brown triangle on the bottom of a sheet of paper.
4. Glue the circles above the triangle.
5. Decorate the circle “ice cream” with small bead “sprinkles.”

Craft/Activity 3: Insect I’s

Materials

• Letter I template (http://www.quality-kids-crafts.com/support-files/letter-i-template.pdf)
• Blank paper
• Magazines
• Scissors
• Glue

Directions

1. Print the letter I template onto the blank paper.
2. Cut out insects from the magazines.
3. Glue the insects on the I’s.

Optional: Set the finished I craft aside to bind into a book at the end of the alphabet lesson.
