Craft/Activity 1: Little Letter S Book

Materials

• Little Letter S Book template (http://www.themeasuredmom.com/rhymes-for-letter-s/)
• Blank paper
• Stapler

Directions

1. Print the Little Letter S Book template onto the blank paper.
2. Cut an even line across the center of the page.
3. Fold the two sheets to make a book.
4. Staple the book together.
5. Read the Little Letter S Book.

Craft/Activity 2: Spice Painting (http://oneinchworld.com/blog/index.php/2009/11/spice-painting/)

Materials

• Paper
• Glue
• Water
• Spices

Directions

1. Water down some glue.
2. Spread the watered down glue on the paper.
3. Sprinkle and pour the spices on the glue.

Craft/Activity 3: String Ss

Materials

• Letter S template (http://www.quality-kids-crafts.com/support-files/letter-s-template.pdf)
• Blank paper
• String
• Scissors
• Glue

Directions

1. Print the letter S template onto the blank paper.
2. Cut the string into small pieces
3. Glue the string onto the letter Ss.

Optional: Set the finished S craft aside to bind into a book at the end of the alphabet lesson.
