Craft/Activity 1: Popsicle Stick Star Craft (http://www.daniellesplace.com/html/christmas.html)
Materials
- 5 popsicle sticks
- Glue
- Paint
- Flat beads or jewels
- Yarn
Directions
- Arrange the popsicle sticks to form a star.
- Glue the popsicle sticks together.
- After the glue dries, paint the popsicle stick star.
- After the paint dries, decorate the popsicle stick star with flat beads or jewels.
- Loop a circle of yarn around one corner of the star.
- Hang the popsicle stick star.
Craft/Activity 2: Star Sponge Painting Wrapping Paper
Materials
- Paint
- Large sheets of paper
- Scrap cardboard
- Sponges
- Scissors
Directions
- Cut the sponges into star shapes with the scissors.
- Pour some paint onto the cardboard.
- Dip the sponge stars into the paint and then onto the paper.
- Use the star wrapping paper during the holidays as gift wrap.
