Red Headed Honey Coconut, Honey, and Propolis Lip Balm Review

Red Headed Honey Coconut, Honey, and Propolis Lip Balm Review

I am a lip balm addict! I have lip balms stashed all over my home, purse, and vehicle so that I can reapply often. I also love trying new and different brands and flavors. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review the three-pack of natural lip balm from Red Headed Honey in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity to add some new tubes to my stash.

Price

The three-pack of Red Headed Honey lip balm currently retails for $9.00 on Amazon. Other similar natural lip balms cost roughly the same price per tube. In fact, another brand that I purchase frequently costs about $3.50 each. I therefore rate the current price of Red Headed Honey positively.

Proudly made in the USA in small batches to maintain quality, the three-pack comes in coconut for smooth texture, honey with a delicious taste, and proplis for healing problem lips. Each tube contains 0.15 ounces of lip balm. Other natural ingredients include olive oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E oil, coconut oil, and tea tree oil.

Performance

I absolutely love my new three-pack of natural lip balm from Red Headed Honey! First, I love the minimal ingredients in all three flavors. For example, the honey contains beeswax, olive oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, honey, and honey flavor oil. I am not scared of chemical just for the sake of fearing chemicals, but I do like using products that contain simple ingredients. These lip balms also do not contain dyes that can stain the lips. If you are a fan of natural beauty products and are searching for a new lip balm, definitely check out the Red Headed Honey brand.

In addition to the minimal natural ingredients, I also love the three yummy flavors. The honey smells so delicately of honey and glides onto the lips smoothly. The coconut has a lightly sweet scent and leaves the lips feeling smooth. The propolis smells slightly of tea tree oil and coats the lips slightly more thickly to help heal problem spots. I honestly cannot decide which flavor is my favorite. If I had to pick, I would probably say the honey is my top choice, but I really love the delicate and unique scents of all three lip balms. Red Headed Honey has been my go-to lip balm since I received my pack of three.

More important than the ingredients or scents of a lip balm is the performance. A great-smelling lip balm is worthless without hydrating the lips well. I can say that, without a doubt, I love the hydrating power of the natural lip balms from Red Headed Honey. All three glide onto my lips smoothly and remain in place for a long time. The propolis is slightly thicker than the coconut or honey, which I expect for a lip balm that promises to help with problem lips. I can put any of these lip balms on at bedtime and sleep all night without waking up and feeling like I need to reapply. Both my daughter and son also enjoy putting on my new lip balms. I am therefore incredibly impressed with the Red Headed Honey brand of lip balms!
