As I have shared in the past, I love a good bargain. Whenever I shop online — which is almost every day — I do a quick search for coupon codes to get the best price possible before placing my order. I was familiar with a couple of coupon websites, and I often found promo codes on the Facebook pages of my favorite retailers. I was recently introduced to a new savings site: Dealspotr. Dealspotr is the first crowdsourced savings site in the world at which all the deals are curated and edited by the Dealspotr community of deal hunters, couponers, and shoppers. Even better, the website pays you to save!
How does Dealspotr work? Start sharing all the deals by signing up for a free account. Simply head to the homepage and click on the Join button. Once logged in, you can browse or search for coupon codes, promos, sales, freebies, free shipping, and more. More importantly, you can also add deals that you find by clicking on the Add a Deal button. For example, I spotted a 5% off order of $25 or more for military families at Kissed by the Moon. I filled out the required information about the coupon code such as the expiration date and tips for using the code. I finally uploaded an image of the code in use to validate the coupon.
In addition to sharing the coupon for Kissed by the Moon, I also earned 138 points for posting the deal. Unlike with other coupon websites, users at Dealspotr earn points for helping other shoppers save money. Whenever I post deals, validate deals, spot deals, complete my daily checklist, and refer new members, I earn points that I can exchange for gift cards every time I reach a 10,000 point threshold!
What are some other ways to earn points while helping other shoppers find the best deals at Dealspotr? In addition to sharing deals, you can also add items on sale at notable prices. For example, I spotted the retired Imagine Newborn Bamboo All-in-One on sale at Nicki’s Diapers for $7.17, which is 40% off the original price. I again filled out all the details for the deal and uploaded a screenshot of the sale in action. One I finished validating the sale, I earned another 106 points.
You can also earn points by validating deals previously submitted to Dealspotr. For example, whenever I shop at Nicki’s Diapers, I use coupon code FIVE to receive 5% off my purchase. The promo code had previously been added to Dealspotr, so I validated the code to show that FIVE still worked to give shoppers 5% off. Validating a deal is almost the same as adding a deal. You simply fill out the details of the code and then upload a screenshot of the deal in action. I also reactivated and validated the coupon code JUSTBECAUSE at Pink Lemonade Shop, which gives you 10% off your purchase now through December 31, 2016.
Finally, redeeming your points for rewards is super easy. After you log into the Dealspotr website, click on your avatar and then click on Points & Rewards. When you have enough points, you then click on the Redeem Now button. By clicking on the Process My Reward Now button, you submit your account for review per the Dealspotr Community Guidelines. Pending the results of the review, Dealspotr will send you Amazon gift card in the amount of your earned rewards to the email address in your profile. Easy peasy! You do need to allow a couple of days for the review process, but, as long as you followed the rules, you should get your gift card in a couple of days.
I am all about saving money whenever possible, and I always use coupon codes when I shop online. Dealspotr is my new go-to website for finding the best promo codes and sales for my online purchases. I also love that I can earn money while I help other shoppers save money too. I often see coupon codes while browsing my favorite online retailers or while perusing Facebook. Now I can share all the deals through Dealspotr and earn rewards at the same time! If you too love a good deal and want to earn while you share bargains, sign up at Dealspotr today!
