Star Wars Silicone Ice Trays and Chocolate Molds Review

I am a big Star Wars fan. I also love getting creative in the kitchen. My freezer often runs low on ice cubes, and I love making fancy gelatin gummies and molded chocolates. Thus, when recently offered the chance to review the six-pack of Star Wars silicone ice trays and chocolate molds from WUGURICH at a deep discount in exchange for my honest opinion, I eagerly accepted the opportunity.

Price

The set of six Star Wars silicone ice trays and chocolate molds from WUGURICH currently retails for $14.99 on Amazon. Each tray costs roughly $2.50. Other similar silicone molds cost around the same price, so I rate the current price of these Star Wars trays quite positively.

Performance

I am a huge fan of silicone kitchenware. I really love silicone molds, which are naturally non-stick and easy to clean. As a Star Wars fan, I was extremely excited to use my six Star Wars silicone ice trays and chocolate molds for the first time. With hot summer weather upon me, I decided to first use the molds to make ice cubes. I especially love freezing fruit juice to drop into my plain seltzer water as a yummy cold beverage on a warm day.

Filling and freezing ice cubes using my new Star Wars silicone molds was incredibly easy. After I filled each compartment with water, I stacked the trays in my freezer. I love that I can place the trays one on top of another, which saves space in my jam-packed freezer. As long as you do not overfill the compartments, the ice cubes do not stick to the tray on top. The space-saving design is really helpful, especially if you want to use all six trays at once.

Popping ice cubes from the silicone trays from WUGURICH is just as easy as filling the compartments. Once the water froze, I simply pressed on the back of each mold to pop the fancy cubes out. Silicone is naturally non-stick, so the ice pops right out. You do need to be careful with some of the thinner pieces such as the legs on R2D2, but, once I figure out to press on the thinner parts first, I popped all the ice cubes out without any breakage.

I am super excited to use my Star Wars silicone molds for more fun projects in the future. My family and I adopted our dog Kenobi on May 4, which also happens to be Star Wars Day. I plan to make some fun candies and gummies next year to help celebrate his adoption day and the holiday. I also like making homemade gelatin gummies for my kids, and these silicone molds work perfectly with the sticky candy. If you are a fan of Star Wars, definitely pick up a six-pack of these awesome silicone molds!
