TwirlyGirl Reversible Twirly Ruffle Skirt Review

Disclosure: I received a piece of clothing from TwirlyGirl as part of an advertorial.

TwirlyGirl

My toddler daughter is a tiny fashionista. She loves pretty clothes, and her toddler wardrobe rivals mine. She particularly like pretty dresses  and other girls cute clothes — especially in the color pink. She also loves spinning around and around in circles. Thus, when recently offered a chance to review a TwirlyGirl Reversible Twirly Ruffle Skirt, I eagerly accepted the opportunity. TwirlyGirl clothes are made in the USA from domestic and imported fabrics.

I received a TwirlyGirl Reversible Twirly Ruffle Skirt in Rainbow Waterfall Wishes. One side features a colorful rainbow with a sparkly purple waist and deep pink trim. The opposite side is a sparkly turquoise with a sparkly purple waist and bright yellow trim. The piece can be worn with either side facing out. The waist contains a wide elastic for ease and comfort. The fabric is 96% polyester and 4% spandex. The company also offers a number of other beautiful reversible skirts such as this gorgeous rainbow and turquoise ensemble. The pieces from TwirlyGirl are perfect for little girls who like pretty clothes and who like to twirl.

When I first showed my daughter her new ensemble, she immediately gushed at the pretty colors. She could not decide which side she wanted to wear at first. Fortunately, both sides coordinated with her shirt that day. Her new skirt also matches many of the other outfits in her wardrobe. The bright colors really put a sparkling on a dreary winter day. The brightly colored Rainbow Waterfall Wishes will also brighten up any outfit in the spring and summer. My daughter also likes touching the soft and shimmery fabric.

Caring for the Reversible Twirly Ruffle Skirt from TwirlyGirl is incredibly easy. piece is machine washable. Because of the shimmery fabric, I placed the ensemble in a delicate bag with some socks and tights and then washed all my dirty laundry following my normal wash routine. I wash our clothing on cold with a cold rinse. I then hung up the skirt to air dry. Easy peasy! I do not deal with clothes that require more intricate wash routines and definitely do not buy clothes that require dry cleaning, so the machine washable clothing from TwirlyGirl are perfect for my family. Plus, when my daughter gets her new skirt dirty, I can simply toss the piece in the washer with the rest of our laundry.

My daughter loves wearing her new ensemble from TwirlyGirl. She particularly likes spinning around in circles while wearing her ruffle skirt. She also likes switching the piece from the rainbow print to the sparkly turquoise. With a retail price of $62 each, the reversible skirts from TwirlyGirl are quite a bit on the pricier side for my tastes. However, my daughter loves her skirt so much that I would consider buying her more clothing from the company for special occasions such as Easter or her birthday. The ruffle skirts are also very versatile, matching so many shirt and tight combination, so a single piece can get a lot of use.
