Week Five of the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge: Blue

Click, Color, Capture Photography ChallengeThe Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge hosted by East9thStreet, A Helicopter Mom, Nap Time Is My Time, and Sunshine and Sippy Cups challenges bloggers and photographers to take one photograph each week for ten weeks that features a single color. Blue is the color for the current week. Previous weeks featured red, orange, yellow, and green. Instead of my usually Wordless Wednesday post, I am joining in the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge for ten weeks of the challenge. Feel free to join in as well!

Poppy loves when Espen and I take her out for stroller rides when the weather is warm enough. During our walks, I have been looking for color in the drab grayness of winter. To my surprise, I found quite a lot of blue out and about in my little town. For the challenge this week, I actually took three blue photographs. The first is of the blue slide in one of our city parks. (I also like the colorfulness of the elephant slide.) I also noticed a bright blue gazing stone next to a house that caught my attention. Finally, as I was walking past the high school, I noticed a lonely discarded blue rubber band laying on the sidewalk next to the grass. Here are my blue photographs:
