Week Six of the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge: Purple

Click, Color, Capture Photography ChallengePurple is the featured color this week for the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge hosted by East9thStreet, A Helicopter Mom, Nap Time Is My Time, and Sunshine and Sippy Cups. This photography challenge asks bloggers and photographers to take one photograph each week for ten weeks that features a single color. The five previous weeks featured red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. Therefore, instead of my usual Wordless Wednesday post, I am joining in the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge for ten weeks of the challenge. Feel free to join in the challenge as well!

Purple is one of my favorite colors. As a child, my bedroom walls and carpet were purple. I still love purple but do not have that much around my house at the moment. James and I prefer a more natural color scheme consisting of browns, reds, and earthy greens. However, hanging in my hallway is a colorful picture that I painted. In one of the corners of this painting is a purple face. I have chosen to take a picture of the purple face in this picture for the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge this week. Here is my purple photograph:
