Week Two of the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge: Orange

    Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge

Orange is the color of the week for the Click, Color, Capture Challenge hosted by East9thStreet, A Helicopter Mom, Nap Time Is My Time, and Sunshine and Sippy Cups. For the next nine weeks, I will be participating in this challenge instead of my usual Wordless Wednesday post. Feel free to join in on the Click, Color, Capture Photography Challenge as well. Happy photographing!

While taking my daughter for a stroller ride and my dog for a walk the other day, I brought along my camera in search of something orange to photograph. The winter season can be rather drab in my neck of the woods, so I knew I would have an interesting time finding any color at all on my walk. However, as I turned a street corner, I noticed an orange ribbon tied to an orange wooden stick next to an orange caution cone. The orangeness of the warning signal stuck out against the barren winter landscape. I also wondered what exactly I needed to watch out for. (As I discovered, the problem was a broken fire hydrant.) Here is my orange photograph:
