The October 7th edition of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, which aired last night, featured one of the most anticipated debuts of a musical group in recent memory.

Singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, who provide the singing voices of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey of the fictional KPop group Huntr/x in the smash hit Netflix movie KPop Demon Hunters, harmonized flawlessly on the powerhouse single Golden, which you can see below.

The trio performed in matching black outfits, with Nuna in particular sporting some huge shoulder pads. The Tonight Show audience ate up the group’s performance, marking the live debut of Golden. In under 24 hours, the video has garnered over a quarter of a million likes on YouTube.

Huntri/x Are Fictional, But The Talent Behind Them Is Real

The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and its hit single Golden have dominated the charts since the movie’s release in August of 2025. The Soundtrack Album has been number one on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, and Golden reached number one on the Billboard Global 200, where it sat for ten weeks straight.

EJAE, Nuna, and Ami are all established singers, songwriters, and producers who have gained global attention through their involvement with K-pop, notably as the singing voices of the main characters in Demon Hunters. The trio stayed on the Tonight Show for an extended interview with host Jimmy Fallon, discussing a wide range of topics, and were presented with a Platinum Record award for their work on Golden.

Ami, Nuna and EJAE also appeared on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live episode in a sketch with host Bad Bunny.

More KPop Demon Hunters Is On The Way

Produced by Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation, KPop Demon Hunters hit the Top Ten and has been at number for 15 weeks, making it the longest tenured English film to top the list. Discussions for a sequel are underway, with Netflix and Sony collaborating on the development of the story.

Netflix also gave KPop Demon Hunters a rare theatrical release, which earned $20 million, putting it in league with the openings of Dreamworks’ The Bad Guys 2 ($22 million) and Pixar’s Elio ($20.8 million). It was the first Netflix film to finish in first place over its opening weekend. As well, Fortnite recently released playable skins featuring Rumi, Mira, and Zoey of Huntr/x.

As for the voices of Huntr/x, EJAE (who provides Rumi’s singing voice in the movie) announced that she has a new single coming out on October 24th, entitled “In Another World.” The singing voice of Mira, Nuna, has released a slew of singles, including “Comic Sans” with Jack Harlow, while Ami (Zoey) releases new music on her popular YouTube channel.
